Other Puppies & Other Dog Listing Guidelines
You must complete, sign and submit the form including agreeing to the "Release Statement" regarding health and temperament.
Litter Listing & Puppy Referral Program
The PSLRA Litter Listing & Puppy Referral Program is a service provided to Club Members to assist in marketing their puppies/litters that conform to the Club’s published Code of Ethics.
- Listing of Litter’s, on the Club’s website or in the newsletter, is in no way an endorsement by PSLRA of any litter or any one litter over another.
- A PSLRA Member must own either the Sire or the Dam and must submit the listing for a non-Member, using the PSLRA Litter Listing & Puppy Referral Program Form for ALL litters.
- Litters will be posted on the Club’s website and newsletter if they conform to the Club’s Code of Ethics.
- Litters can be posted for 12 weeks from the original posting date.
- If puppies are still available after 12 weeks, those puppies can be listed individually on the Other Dogs & Older Puppies listing for an additional listing fee. Refer to those guidelines for more details.
Required Health Clearances: Sire & Dam
To post a Litter Listing on the Club’s website and in the PSLRA newsletter it must comply with the PSLRA Code of Ethics, plus COPIES OF HEALTH CERTIFICATES FOR ALL THE REQUIRED CLEARANCES LISTED BELOW MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR BOTH THE SIRE AND DAM ALONG WITH THE COMPLETED LITTER LISTING FORM.
IF THE BREEDER/LISTER WOULD LIKE THE LITTER LISTING CHAIR TO REFER TO THE SIRE OR DAM’S ACTUAL OFA PAGE, ASSUMING ALL CLEARANCES ARE POSTED AND THE EYE CLEARANCE INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE, THE ACTUAL OFA LINK(S) MUST BE PROVIDED.
THE LITTER LISTING CHAIR WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY RESEARCH OFA TO FIND SIRE OR DAM’S OFA RESULTS, NOR WILL THEY ACCESS OTHER DATABASES OR REVIEW BREEDER WEBSITES TO OBTAIN CLEARANCE INFORMATION FOR EITHER THE SIRE OR DAM.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BREEDER/LISTER TO PROVIDE COMPLETE AND ACCURATE INFORMATION TO THE LITTER LISTING CHAIR TO ENSURE THE LISTING CAN BE POSTED IN A TIMELY MANNER. IF ANY REQUIRED CLEARANCE INFORMATION IS MISSING OR INCOMPLETE THE LISTING WILL NOT BE POSTED UNTIL PROVIDED.
- Preliminary Hip and Elbow clearances are NOT acceptable.
- Hips: Must be certified Fair, Good or Excellent for both the Sire and Dam by at least one of the following methods:
- OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals)
- PennHip clearances that score in the 50th percentile or higher are accepted.
- Passing clearances from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in Canada are accepted.
- Elbows must be certified OFA Normal on both the Sire and Dam.
- Dogs whelped before 5/1/87 are exempt from Elbow clearance requirements and will be marked OFEL N/A.
- Eye clearances, OFA or AVOC, and both Sire and Dam have been examined by a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist within the past 12 months
- At least one of the breeding pair, Sire or Dam, must be Clear of: PRA/prcd, EIC and CNM.
- Or, proven to be Clear by Parentage. (Copies of parent’s clearance certificates must be provided).
- Heart clearances will be included in the listing at the discretion of the Breeder/Lister
Glossary: EIC: Exercise Induced Collapse, CNM: Centronuclear Myopathy, prcd/PRA: Progressive Retinal Atrophy, DD: Dilute clear, CBP: Clear by parentage
Submitting Documents & Making Payments
Email completed form, required documents and associated OFA Links to the Litter Listing Chair at: litterlisting@pslra.org
- If you need to physically mail documents, send an email requesting the address and one will be provided.
- Once your Litter Listing Form and required clearance documents are reviewed you will be sent the payment option to pay for your Litter Listing on-line through the Club’s Shopping Cart.
- You can choose to pay the $10.00 by Check or PayPal. Checks are made payable to: PSLRA and sent to the Club’s Treasurer at the address listed in the Club’s Shopping Cart.
Litter Updates & Donations
- All Breeders MUST update their Litter Listing each week by sending an email to the PSLRA Litter Listing Chair at: litterlisting@pslra.org
- Updates should include the sex and color of the remaining available puppies.
- PLEASE PROVIDE REGULAR AND TIMELY UPDATES. DO NOT REQUIRE THE LITTER LISTING CHAIR TO CONTACT THE BREEDER/LISTER FOR UPDATES IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN LISTING INFORMATION ON THE CLUB’S WEBSITE.
- TO ENSURE LISTING INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE IN UPCOMING PSLRA NEWSLETTERS, UPDATES MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE THE 20TH OF EACH MONTH.
- If the Litter Listing & Puppy Referral Program helps sell your puppies, we ask that you consider donating to Labrador Rescue to show your appreciation.
- Donations can be made by Check or PayPay through the Club’s Shopping Cart by selecting the Donation option at
- Or, made directly to Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue if you would like your donation to be tax deductible
Older Puppies & Other Dog Listing
Submitting Form & Payment Options:

- If you need to physically mail this document, send an email to litterlisting@pslra.org requesting the address and one will be provided.
- Please submit a photo of the dog you wish to list as it does assist with placement.
- You can choose to pay the $10.00 by Check or PayPal. Checks are made payable to: PSLRA and sent to the Club’s Treasurer at the address listed in the Club’s Shopping Cart.
